I have spent more than thirty years making adjustable beds in Britain.

I learned the trade in a family that has been making furniture here since 1968. I started selling adjustable beds in 1992, when almost nobody in this country had heard of them, and I was the first to bring them to the British high street. For years I built the beds that well known names sold under their own labels, supplying retailers the length of the country.

I designed those frames myself, and I still do. Everything is made in our own factory in the West Midlands, the complete adjustable frame, by people I know rather than bought in and badged. That is rare now. Most adjustable beds sold here are assembled from parts made somewhere else.

I started Motion Beds because I was tired of watching people pay too much for too little, and of seeing these beds sold on fear instead of comfort. I wanted to sell direct and honestly, with the price on the page and a real person on the phone. The same beds I have always built, without a middleman's markup.

Every Motion Bed is handcrafted here and backed for fifteen years on the frame. If it does not suit you, you have thirty nights to send it back. That is the deal, and it is the one I would want for my own family.
