A mattress for an adjustable bed has a harder job than a flat one. It has to fold at the hip and shoulder night after night and still hold its shape. I wake up with sore hips and shoulders
You want the surface to move out of the way under pressure points rather than push back at them. Memory foam moulds closest. If you also want spring support underneath, step up to the hybrid.
I get too hot in bed
Heat is usually a foam problem. Cool Gel moves warmth away from the surface. Pocket springs let air move through the mattress instead of trapping it.
I have allergies or want natural materials
Wool, cashgora and cotton, layered over pocket springs. Naturally breathable, naturally hypoallergenic, and the most substantial mattress we make. Same 14 day lead time as the rest.
I struggle to turn over or shift position
Deep memory foam can feel like hard work to move on. Latex gives you support with a bit of push back, so repositioning takes less effort.
We are two very different weights
Individual pocket springs respond to each body separately, with a memory layer on top for comfort. Less rolling towards the heavier partner.
I just want a familiar sprung feel that lasts
No foam layers to get used to. Traditional pocket sprung support that flexes properly with the base, at the most accessible price we offer.
The feel scale
Firmness is not quality. It is fit. Heavier bodies and back sleepers usually want to sit further right. Lighter bodies and side sleepers usually want to sit further left. Here is where all six land.
